New Additions

We have new additions! First, I would like for you meet my first granddaughter Anastasia. A few days before she was born, I got to thinking about the products my daughter would be purchasing to take care of baby’s skin, as well as, the cream she would need as a breastfeeding mother. It was then that I considered creating a Baby Love line of products.

To start, I made some Baby BUTT-er using certified organic ingredients like Shea, Avocado and Cocoa Butter and blended that with aloe and Calendula infused Argan Oil and organic anti-microbial Coconut Oil. As much as I wanted to add some baby safe essential oils, it is not advisable for the first 3 months of baby’s development, so I am thinking to have two creams that can be used for baby’s bottom and body. The 0-3 month would only have moisturizing butters and oils, and the cream for 3 and up would incorporate kid safe essential oils like lavender, frankincense, and chamomile.

Compliments to the Baby BUTT-er would include a handcrafted powder pouf to dust baby’s bottom with natural and organic ingredients that wick away the dampness from baby’s skin. And of course, I had to formulate a gentle shampoo and body wash that won’t dry out baby’s skin. Of course, I have to apply the same principle concerning essential oils, so there are no added essential oils. I have ideas for baby wipes, but that will have to wait a moment.

There was one more product that I thought my daughter, Camille, would appreciate and that was a nipple cream that I am calling Ta-Ta Tastic. It’s been a while (at least 26 years) since I last breast fed a baby, so I didn’t realize how quickly Camille would need a solution, so I am glad I was ready to craft something for her, within a couple of hours, to soothe her raw skin. Again, I couldn’t add those healing oils I love because it would get into baby’s milk supply and it is too early for that, but I think this natural baby line of products would make great additions to the Bathsheba Body Works product line. What do you think?  Is this something you would like to see in our vendor booth and website?
